Kirsten Freni

 

Kirsten has been a part of the North Shore Prides Board of Directors since February 2012. Kirsten is an active board member and volunteer with the North Shore Alliance of GLBTQ Youth (nAGLY). She has been with nAGLY 12 years and served as President of its Board of Directors from 2009-2016.

Kirsten is a leader involved in various community and GLBTQ causes. She was the first female Outreach Educator for an HIV/STD Prevention and Education Program for Gay and Bi Men on the North Shore and received the “Certified Male” title due to her unprecedented involvement with the gay/bi male community. Kirsten is a long standing board member on Fenway Health’s Community Advisory Board for the HIV/AIDS Vaccine Trial Network and served as its co-chair. Kirsten was appointed as a commissioner for the Massachussets Commission on GLBTQ Youth in 2013.

Kirsten is a self employed consultant in the hospitality, wellness and entertainment field. She has a passion for travel, continuing on her path for self awareness, facilitating women’s circles and spending time with family and friends.
